Riyadussaliheen Family Group organizes & conducts different learning programs and competitions related to Holy Qura’n & Hadiths.

The following are an overview of various programs conducted for both children and adults.

All Kerala Hifd Competiton 2022

An All Kerala Hifd competition had been conducted in July 2022 at Kottakkal in Malappuram district in the memory of Maulana Abdul Baari Musliyar
Unlike normal hifd competitions, along with the recitation, questions were asked about some of the Tajweed rules that come between the verses of the Quran that they recite.
There were about 1000 Registrations from all over kerala. Competitors were segregated into 3 Categories as per their ages and competing in Juz’ 30, Juz’29 & Juz’ 28
Competition has been held in 3 online screening stages. A Grand finale with 36 Finalists were conducted at Illickkal Auditorium, Kottakkal. The program was inaugrated by Panakkad Syed Munavar Ali Shihab Thangal and the event was solemnized with many distinguished guests.
A prize money of more than 4 Lakhs Rupees distributed among the finalists.

Cognitive programs conducted over the past decade among children aged 5 to 17 years studying from LKG to +2.

Quran Learning
The children’s study was started by memorizing the 30th Juz’ of the Holy Qur’an according to Tajweed rules. The competition was then conducted in two stages (from Surah Al-A’la to Surah Nas and Surah Nab’a to Surah at Taariq).
The second phase of the study was based on the special Suras of the Qur’an, memorized according to the Tajweed, and conducted their competition
The next step was to memorize 30 selected portions from the Qur’an. Studied those 30 portions with Tafseer and conducted quizzes based on them.

At the same time, selected 10 certain significant portions of the Qur’an including Ayat al-Kursi, khawathim Surah Al-Baqarah, khawathim Alu-Imran, and memorized them according to the rules of Tajweed and conducted their competition.

The recent study was based on Islamic inheritance law. The rules were studied in detail and a quiz and a written test were conducted based on it.

Quran Learning
1. Studied the complete biography of The Prophet (peace be upon him) and organized a quiz based on it.

2. The last Hizb (chapters from Surah Alaa to Surah Nass) of the Holy Qur’an was memorized according to the Tajweed and a recitation competition was organized based on it.

3. Surah Mulk and Surah Yaseen were memorized and a Hifd competition was organized.

4. 30 selected portions from the Qur’an (from Surah Al-Baqarah to Surah At-Tahrim) were studied with Tafseer and a quiz competition was organized based on them.

5. 5 important portions of the Qur’an (Ayatul Kursi, khawatim Baqara, khawatim Al-Imran, etc..) were memorized and their Hifd competition was organized.
6. Three Surahs (Surah Ash-Shu’ara, Surah Qasas, and Surah Taha) which mostly includes the history of Musa (a) were learned to recite according to the Tajweed.

Then a recitation competition and a quiz competition based on Tafseer were conducted.

7. Surah An-Nisa ‘, which contains inheritance laws, was recited and studied.

8. At the same time, a detailed study of the important inheritance laws of Islam was carried out. Based on them, group level and individual level competitions were held.

9. 650 hadiths from 75 chapters of Imam Nawawi’s major hadith book RiyaduSaliheen were studied in three stages and quiz programs were conducted based on them.

10. The next step was to select 3 Surahs (Surah Al-Isra ‘, Surah Al-Kahf, Surah Mariyam) which contains various historical events and prophetic histories. Its recitation competition and quiz were organized.
11. A quiz program based on complete online classes of Tajweed rules, conducted daily during the 2018 Ramadan was conducted and the winners were awarded cash prizes.

12. Surah Mai’da was recited and studied and a quiz was conducted based on the study of its Tafseer.

13. A recitation competition and quiz competition based on Surah Aa’raf was held. This completed the recitation and study of the 10 juz of the Holy Qur’an based on the Tajweed.

14. For more than two decades, Ustaad Abdul Rahim conducted recitation classes (more than 15 juz with tajweed) on Fridays at Fahaheel Rawda Mosque and Masjid al – Houthi and now continues his classes online.

15. The Women’s Study Group has been formed in the year 2018 as a golden feather of Riyadussaliheen. The group of more than 100 women is working towards their intellectual upliftment. Tajweed classes and quizzes based on different surahs are being conducted under the auspices of the Women’s Group.
